Coconut syrup is made from tapping the sweet nectar of coconut flower, in the similar way maple syrup is produced. These are then evaporated according to the certified organic standards and placed under controlled evaporation till it I reaches the consistency of syrup. It is vegan, and has a lower GI (35) and is ideal alternative for honey or brown sugar. Econutrena coconut syrup is 100% natural and organic, and has a consistency of molasses.
Coconut syrup is a natural and healthy alternative for regular refined sugar and honey. It can be used in any recipe that requires maple syrup, honey or sugar. It is best when drizzled over pancakes, ice cream, waffles or even porridge. It is also a natural sweetener in cookies and healthier for children and adults as well. Important information: An unopened jar of coconut syrup has a maximum of 18 months of shelf life. Once opened, keep the jar shut tight away from direct sunlight and heat at an ambient temperature.
